Animal Pins and a Star!

I made a new batch of pins. I've made food pins and flower pins, and now I'm making animal pins. They are $3 apiece and make great one-of-a-kind gifts too! (I hope people will want to buy my pins, soaps, and peanut brittle for Christmas.  )

More Pretty Pins, and some pretty good Brownies!

I made new pins this week. Any of them could also be made as magnets if anyone wanted to special order some. I had a local order for healthy chocolate something. My first effort flopped :-p , but then I found a recipe for Black Bear Brownies. I tweaked it, and it's awesome! It's gluten-free and used agave nectar instead of regular sugar.

I made a lot of flower pins this week. I love pretty flowers! I made a heart pin too, a ladybug pin, and some large ice cream pins. And a cherry pie pin! Here they are:

A selection of Fun paper pulp Pins!

Here are some of the pins that I've made so far:

Bluebird of Happiness (with a wiggle eye)

Yummy Cupcakes! Strawberry, Lemon, Chocolate, Vanilla

Vanilla Ice Cream in a Chocolate Cone

Lemon Ice Cream in a Chocolate Cone

Chocolate Ice Cream in a Sugar Cone

Strawberry Ice Cream in a Sugar Cone

Fun Hot Dogs with a Squirt of Mustard!
(I may make one with onions and relish for a little extra fun)

What the backs look like

Measurements: The ice cream cones are 1-1/2 inches tall and 1 inch across the widest point. The cupcakes are also 1-1/2 inches tall and 1-1/4 inches across at the widest point. The hot dogs are nearly 2 inches long and 3/4 inches wide. The bird is 1-3/4 inches from beak to tail. These pins are very lightweight. They are made from paper pulp that I made from paper plates!

I hope to sell these for $3 each or two for $5 -- plus shipping if the buyer isn't local. Wish me luck!

I'm starting my own business!

Well, it's summer. School's out. Yay! I wanted a job, but that didn't turn out, so I decided to make a job for myself. I learned how to make paper pulp jewelry! It's fun! I'm going to post pictures of my cool and funky pins here. I hope to sell some.

Besides the pins, I'm going to make candy to sell. I've won many blue ribbons for my peanut brittle. So I will make that, and I'm working on some more ideas. I already got an order for something sugar-free and chocolate, so I'm working on a recipe for fudge balls.

Next on my list is soap. Soap-making is fun, so I'll make some pretty soaps to sell.

Lastly, I may do something with my photos. Some of them would look really good hanging on a wall, don't you think? Maybe I will add Bible verses to pictures of flowers and butterflies and things.

More info coming soon! Yay!
