Increasing my Inventory! It's All Good!

I took my wares to a flea market this weekend and shared a table with my mom. This flea market doesn't allow table vendors to sell food, so I couldn't take any treats like peanut brittle, cake balls, or brownies, but I had an assortment of pretty soaps. I made a soap tree display. Isn't it pretty? My aqua stars were jasmine scented, my rose soaps were rose scented, and my purple flower and tri-color star were wild berry scented. I don't remember what scent the soaps with toys are, but the kids sure loved them! I was mad when a dad told his little girl that she didn't need any soap! Everybody needs soap, right? But she put her money away, and we were both sad.

I also made a large assortment of paper pulp pins. I learned that I should call them paper mache even though I don't use flour paste to make them. I think the hamburger pins are my favorite, but I like them all.

I didn't make a lot of money. Someone told me that summertime isn't the best time to sell at a flea market, so I will probably try again in the fall. It's fun to have a table at the flea market. I like to make money, and I also like to see all the different people and their dogs that come by!

Valentine Goodies

It's a week till Valentines Day; are you ready?

For people who don't want something sweet, I've got some lovely heart shaped soaps for $3 each. I've got gold hearts and red hearts with soap glitter in them. They are scented with a floral scent, and lavender vanilla is another option.

For the candy-lovers, I've got Valentine lollipops, two for a dollar. Two is the minimum order and they are 50 cents apiece above that. You can get flowers or hearts. They can be milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white mint, or red cherry flavored. The red cherry ones are featured here.

I've got peanut brittle at $6 a half pound, and it can be original or cinnamon. Then I've got chocolate-covered peanut brittle for $7 a half pound. Or I can cover the peanut brittle in a red vanilla flavored candy as pictured here.

Finally, I've got cake balls! This week I'm making triple chocolate goodness cake balls, and another flavor that could be lemon, or butter pecan, or something else. All I need is someone to order a flavor! These cake balls get dipped in milk chocolate and drizzled or sprinkled with a pretty topping. Aren't they pretty? It takes two days to make them, so you need to order in advance to get them in time. They are six for $3 or a dozen for $6.  (I have an order that I will be delivering to someone's workplace as a surprise! That will be fun!)

You can scroll down my blog to find out more about my homemade soaps and candies. Thank you for visiting!

Poinsettia Soaps!

I just keep making soap! I made fun kids soaps in the blog below, and here I've made some Christmas soaps. These are red glycerin poinsettias with soap glitter in them. They are scented with an essential oil called "Christmas Spirit."
Two for $6.00

Fun Kid Soaps!

I made some new soaps today! The first one has a soap fish inside. I made the blue fish and then embedded it in clear glycerin soap! It's scented with honey almond. Cost: $2.50

The rest of these soaps have plastic toys in them. I have only two elephant heads, only two frogs, (their eyes pop out when you squeeze them) and lots of the clown fish (they are really finger puppets)! These are all scented with peppermint.
Hexagon with toy - $3.00

Circle with toy - $3.00
Square with toy - $3.50 (it weighs more)

Rectangle with toy - $4.00 (it's the biggest soap)

If I didn't know this was soap, I would take a bite. Really! These soaps are scented with orange spice. I just made them today and I'm really happy with how they turned out. Wouldn't you like to display these in your bathroom for the holidays? Would make a great Thanksgiving hostess gift too. Five cupcakes for $5. Free delivery locally.

Latest Pretty Soap - "Heart of Gold"

I made a beautiful new soap this week! It has a lavender vanilla scent. It's 3.6 ounces. I've got two pictures; one of the soap, and one of it packaged in my hand so you can see the size of it. I will sell Heart of Gold soaps for $3 apiece. Let me know if you want one!

This Week I Made Soap

I had fun making soap this week. I want to sell some, but I don't know what price to put on them. Mom has been too busy to help me figure that out. Oh well, if you have any ideas, please tell me! These are all apple scented.

These are summer flowers, pink on top with gold on the back. I think they are my favorites.

These stars are cool too. They had soap glitter in them. Maybe they are my favorites!

I really like these soaps with red flowers and clear glitter behind.

This trio is really cool. I made little red heart soaps and put them in the center of these clear glitter soaps! Maybe these are my favorites!

This is how I will package them, but with ribbon tied on.

I'm starting my own business!

Well, it's summer. School's out. Yay! I wanted a job, but that didn't turn out, so I decided to make a job for myself. I learned how to make paper pulp jewelry! It's fun! I'm going to post pictures of my cool and funky pins here. I hope to sell some.

Besides the pins, I'm going to make candy to sell. I've won many blue ribbons for my peanut brittle. So I will make that, and I'm working on some more ideas. I already got an order for something sugar-free and chocolate, so I'm working on a recipe for fudge balls.

Next on my list is soap. Soap-making is fun, so I'll make some pretty soaps to sell.

Lastly, I may do something with my photos. Some of them would look really good hanging on a wall, don't you think? Maybe I will add Bible verses to pictures of flowers and butterflies and things.

More info coming soon! Yay!
